Welcome to your Closing of the Bones Ceremony, where we will begin with a Haitian Postpartum Healing Bath, also known as a Bain Fey. This traditional herbal bath uses sacred herb

 to loosen tense or tight muscles after birth or loss, help the body retain heat during healing, improve circulation, and support womb care and emotional restoration.

Your bath will be followed by a 15-20 minute Yoni Steam to gently warm and open the womb space. Yoni steaming helps regulate your moon cycle, supports uterine detoxification, encourages healthy circulation, and helps release stagnant energy held in the pelvis and womb.

After these preparations, we will move into your Closing of Bones Ceremony. A Closing of the Bones is a traditional healing ritual honored throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, and parts of Africa. It supports a woman in closing a chapter of her life and calling her bones, spirit, and energy back home to herself.
It is often offered after birth, loss, emotional transitions, trauma, or any experience that has stretched you physically, spiritually, or emotionally.

During the ceremony, you are wrapped, held, and gently realigned. The intention is to guide your energy inward, support emotional release, and create a sense of closure so you can step forward feeling restored, protected, and whole. This work honors your body, your lineage, and your journey.

At the beginning of the ceremony you will have the opportunity to share your birthing story or stories. You can share any thoughts you might have, while I hold space for you. This aids in the healing necessary around any birth traumas, shame, guilt or to gain more clarity and give you some closure if needed by communicating any feelings that may come up before or during your closing.

We will then lay seven pieces of cloth on the ground. Where you will lay down on the cloth and the 7 Chakra points will be honored, wrapped tightly/closed, starting with your head and ending at your feet. We will invite your spouse/partner, children to come sit with you once you are fully wrapped, if you like. When ready, you will be unwrapped from toe to head.

We will then talk about what may have come up for you while wrapped during your closing.
