Every time I think of springtime and spring cleaning, I always think about how I feel on the inside. While maybe are rearranging furniture, maybe cleaning their yards, switching out their clothes in their closet from winter to bringing out spring and eventually summer clothes, I am getting control of how I feel going into this new season.

How my body feels. How I feel about my inner being. Hows my health? Do I feel good?

You can do all the cleaning on the outside but if you don’t feel good on the inside what’s the point?

Juicing for the Divine Soul Fast…

One of my favorite parts of this fast was incorporating juicing. For almost a decade I’ve found a love for juicing my fruits and vegetables. There are so many benefits and people would always ask me questions about my juicing and smoothies I’d make so it was my desire to somehow merge two very powerful things in my spiritual and healing journey. This was to add juicing, green juices to this fast.

Juicing brings me joy. The washing and chopping of the ingredients, the slow churning sounds of the juicer, and then that first sip. I truly love it. This was also something my son found joy helping me do and I'd teach him what the vegetables were. He'd call out the vegetables by name as he'd put them in the juicer it was pure joy and it made this healthy experience fun.

After fasting for 14hrs I decided to start with a fresh-pressed juice. It’s recommended to drink 16-32oz and it is filling, satisfying, and also a great way not to overeat when it’s time to break fast and begin eating solid foods. It is saying to the body I am still in control over how I fuel my body. It is truly soothing to your soul.

While fasting I strongly encourage you to drink plenty of water and stay caffeine-free. Some herbal teas are ok (add some raw organic honey if you like) you’re welcome 😊

Fasting is spiritual. It is the time when you find the most peace and clarity. It’s you hearing the voice of God because you have limited the distractions and the presence of the divine is redefined.

Happy Monday Empowered Ones

One thing about me. I’m gonna stay prayed up and when I get tired I’m going to chill and rest...on the word, rely on a higher strength greater than my own and PIVOT accordingly and respectfully. 

Stay Empowered my beautiful people!! 

This verse came to me yesterday in my daily prayer & devotional time. I felt it in every single fiber of my being. I pray that it encourages a Queen today (whenever you read it) 

So oftentimes we let our circumstances outweigh the gift of the breath in our lungs, the favor and mercy we’ve been given in the past, we forget who is in TOTAL control of our future and who’s we belong to. 

This morning while laying in the bed with Baby Moon 🌙 and Axis I was reminded that this is the plan! This is why you do what you do! Friends, coaching is MY calling. Being of service to women to be reminded that SHE is promised MORE and to the truth, the journey is part of my MISSION. 

I write this today as I close yet another chapter of this manuscript of life. 

There are no stutter steps or false starts only pivots. Steps have been ordered and blessed in advance even when we can’t see the entire staircase. I am in full belief of that and am a living example of that my loves TRUST.

Sage & Smudge Sticks - How, When & Why You Should Start

Greetings Empowered Ones,

Energy is everything.

Some may know that everything that I use as a tool, I share. Sharing tools to rid the blocks and negative energies are vital.

I made some smudge sticks in the spring of 2019, while pregnant with Baby Moon, I got as far as taking pretty pictures of them but never shared them with a soul. My husband and I ended up smudging our home with it.

Clearing energy is everything. Specifically when it’s off, stagnant, and negative.
Smudging is something I remember ever since I was younger. During ceremonies, rituals, New Year blessing of our home. It is something I have added to my own prayer and meditation practice.

2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year. A year whereas a collective there is a certain unveiling happening. Many are seeking. There have been so many waves of emotions this year. I normally smudge my home or space whenever I feel the energy is low. When there is a feeling of anxiety, sadness, low vibration, I sage. I smudge myself, my home, my workspace, even my phone.

About a month ago creating smudge sticks came up again and I’m being obedient and offering them. These sage or smudge sticks are all handmade by me and made with so much love and good vibes. 

First, some may be wondering, so here are some answers to FAQs

What is smudging? What is sage used for?

This is not a trend. I repeat this is not a trend. It is an ancient spiritual ritual. Sage or smudging is used for multiple purposes. It’s great for expelling negative energies. It is powerful with intention setting and prayer. It is derived from our Native Indigenous brothers and sisters as it is used for ceremonies, medicinal purposes, and rituals. These are mother nature’s herbs and medicines so they have medicinal properties when used properly. 

What is the difference between Sage and Palo Santo? 

Smudging with a Sage removes ALL energy. Palo Santo is also known as “holy wood” bringing good energy back into spaces.  When used together it is a powerful tool. 


When do I smudge? 

Moving into your new home/space. 

Before leaving your home.

When feeling drained especially after having company. 

At the start of each day. 

Whenever you feel stagnant energy or feeling down. 

How do I Smudge Space / Home? 

First, open windows to let out unwanted energy. Start by smudging yourself always. Starting with your crown (top of your heart) to your feet. Then smudge each room, each corner of your living space/home/office. Prayers are sent to you with each purchase to guide you if you are unsure of what to say. 

How to use:
Burn your Sage stick and let the smoke permeate and cleanse. Waft the sage smoke with the feather so that the smoke cleanses the entire room. Once done, snuff out the fire against an abalone shell, store away in the included pouch and save for later use.

Burning Instructions: Light the wand from the top end and place the burning wand on a safe surface.

Set Your Intention:
While you are saging your home/space, make sure that you have a focused intention in mind. These smudge sticks come complete with a few prayers for guidance in case you don’t know what to say while smudging your space. You can use these prayers or say your own.

*Always make sure that your smudge stick is completely out when done blessing / saging your space.

Some benefits of smudging include but not limited to: 

  • Clearing negative energy

  • Cleansing space, objects, and self.

  • Improved sleep.

White Sage

White Sage is a very powerful tool for clearing negative energy. White sage is known for its antibacterial properties as well as one of the highest quality and one of the most commonly used. It is associated with purity and has a strong and heavy presence. It's definitely useful for when you need a major space cleansing.

Rosemary

Rosemary helps strengthen the memory and help the brain. It promotes confidence and invigorates the mind. Can be used for many purposes, including healing, energy cleansing, removing negative energy, and ritual ceremonies. It's common to smudge rosemary for increased energy and clarity of mind. Rosemary is the elephant of herbs. It never forgets. Rosemary will give your home an uplifting scent.

Flower + White Sage 

The Flower Sage Smudge stick is one of my favorites. The roses add a touch of beauty and give it a beautiful aroma when burning. This includes white sage wrapped in roses or customized with your favorite flowers. 

Black Sage

Black Sage is used to encourage dreams and visions. Also great for increasing positive energy in your home. Black Sage is an herb of introspection and inner healing. Great to be burned before bedtime, as it aids in restful sleep and pleasant dreams. Black Sage is used for, shamanic journeying, and for protection during such excursions.

Wholly & Healed



Y𝚘𝚞𝚛 𝚏𝚊𝚖𝚒𝚕𝚢 𝚜𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚜𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞, 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞!

There are certain things I wish I could do over. Being a better mother in the beginning is by far one of them. I became an instant mom as a bonus mom. Then less than 2yrs after I gave birth to our daughter. 

When I look back my kids got the rest of me. They did. After working in a fast paced stressful environment that I felt stifled in, where I felt I wasn’t growing in as a person. 

They (my kids) got what I had left which was the bare minimum. And no I wasn’t the worst but I wasn’t my best. That’s tough to share but looking back I can say that. Just as many women who are still trying to be THE BEST mom but always feel like they’re failing no matter what they do. I felt like so many people were judging me (oh and they were) watching me, heck I judged me. I compared myself to other moms. But what I should’ve been more focused on was ME. If I wanted to be better I should’ve focused on BETTERING ME. At all costs.

Queens YOU are your BEST investment.

We can’t be better moms, wives, coaches, (insert your titles here) if we don’t focus on bettering the spirit of said person within first. Also if there are underlying things that need to be dealt with.

So I began focusing on bettering myself. 

Focused on my wellbeing. 

Focused on my perception of what mothering meant, why I thought I was falling short and how it correlated to who I am. I starting mommying the way I knew how. 

Instead of believing I didn’t measure up. I just showed up more. I put myself out there. Even when I knew I’d get hurt, fall short. I gave myself grace.

My family, my children began getting the best of me when I started BEING my best. 

I started being my BEST. When I started FEELING my best. I started feeling my best when I started going INWARD. Leaning INWARD. I began saying YES more to my well-being. 

I challenged everything I knew about me. More prayer. Spiritual fasts. I ate differently. I became more consistent in my workouts, my nutrition, what I watched, the books I read, the ENERGY I welcomed into my space.

It was a decision to go passed the surface level. To keep doing the work and stop searching outside of myself and knowing that whatever it is I wanted to be better at I could be but I had to be willing to do the work and be WILLING to go passed the surfaces and perceptions and the judgment and guilt. 

This made all the difference and allowed me to grow and make mistakes without being myself up about it. 

Above all else I had to realize my BEST would look different each and everyday and acknowledging that, honoring that has been so comforting and freeing and has allowed me to grow into and more towards my best mothering self. 

Now I don’t really GAF what anyone has to say, (not as much as I use to) or what anyone thinks. People will judge the crap out of you and still got a whole pile of stuff within their own lives and relationships that they need to focus on and remedy yet don’t. 

Everyone has their own work to do. Everyone.
