Taking Inventory on Postpartum Body during Weight loss Journey

Carrying Baby Moon 🌙 was so surreal. I felt the most beautiful and empowered carrying this little light. She’s a such a little goddess and today I was reminded that the light inside of me that carried her doesn’t just leave once we give birth 🌟

Im smiling in this pic because my beautiful belly and the admiration I have for the human body.  So how can I repay my body for taking such good care of me and housing such a light?   This is what I asked myself and last week I got real clear with myself.  And one thing I’ve been doing is taking inventory on what I’m doing with my idle time and making sure it’s not emotional eating.  This quarantine will do that to the best of us!  

Now is a great time to fast, detox and cleanse to reboot our systems for added clarity and immune boosting, and yes weight loss.   Also to feel great, less lethargic and tired and so we’re not running on empty. It’s time to be honest with yourself. Acknowledge that you need to improve and make that commitment to yourself.  We all do. 

Many of us just want things to go back to what they use to pre #covid19 pre #quarantine and pre #stayhome.  But what does that actually do for people who weren’t really going to the gym, but now they miss it, weren’t really taking care of themselves now they miss the idea of it, weren’t really checking inward before?  Let’s start now. If you could change the changeable RIGHT NOW? Start with that. Why not start with your health, your nutrition, your movement? WHY NOT?! 

How can you help yourself “feel better” despite what’s going on in the world you can make better choices.  These days many of us are still not finding the drive or energy to do anything extra because we’re homeschooling, parenting, working whether as as essential worker #thankyou or from home. Many things right now will rob you of your energy especially because the global vibration right now is low. 

So how can we combat this low vibration? One number thing you can do for you and your family is while you’re drinking the sea moss, making teas, steams next time you go grocery shopping, get as much produce as you can.  Get fruits, vegetables, both frozen and fresh.  Healthy carbs. Lean proteins. Coconut, avocado or olive oils instead of vegetable/corn. Eat for your health.  Feed your spirit as well. 

My girls in my Fit Camp are working harder than ever to lead from the front in order to show and guide YOU during this time to give new ideas, recipes new and healthier alternatives to get through this season healthy and thriving.

Monday check in! 

Heart center ✔️. 

Mindset ✔️. 

Scanning everything from your crown to the tips of your toes. 

We will get through this.  I think for the first time many of us are feeling the same thing. 

Uncertainty.  Bringing up a lot of what ifs. Bringing up a lot of questions, concern, fear, time and also clarity. 

A shift is happening. 

When we come out on the other side of this we have a choice to make.  We can all be healthier, focused, READY, more determined, more compassionate than ever.

The most eager we’ve ever been to experience new heights and live a full unapologetic life. Free of judgment, fear. Adaptable to change. Having a new depth of gratitude and understanding was the vision all along.  Many of us were already on the same wave length when we said 2020 would be the year of clarity. 

Perfect vision.  Right?!  

And since things seem very blurry for many of us right now. Maybe that’s how we’ll truly see and SHIFT our focus to what truly matters. 

Many of us probably wouldn’t have shifted  or made necessary changes if we had not been forced to. So here it is. We’ve been presented an opportunity, more idle time, to stop and switch some things up in order to see more clearly. In order to come out of this better, agile and more flexible than ever before. 

What better version of yourself are you looking forward to becoming? How are you positioning yourself to use this time to recreate, to shift, to focus, to rest and be restored when this is all over, cause a new beginning once we come out of this will be required of many of us.  

If we come out of this exactly the same we’ve missed the mark.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year Beautiful People!!!

I hope you brought the new year in with a new, positive and joyful mindset.

I don’t know about you but I am EXCITED about what the future holds. Excited because I know I am responsible for attaining my goals. I am capable of achieving them. 2018 showed me grit, it brought out strengths in me I didn’t know I had. I ended the year on such a high note with my family. I got so much family time in, much needed movie nights, date nights, laughing and not stressing about the time. I think I watched a movie with my 8 yr old at least 6 days out of his 2 week vacation. Thats huge for me especially with being a entrepreneur and wellness coach, I thank the Creator because had it not been for me pursuing my dream to work from home and make my own schedule I don’t know if I would have been able to do all the things we did as a family. I made the time for what my priorities were during this holiday break. Oh and I still made time for my fitness and maintaining a healthy guilt-free balance with my nutrition.

I have to say though I’m so happy they’re back in school. If you’re a teacher THANK YOU!!!! I mean it. Thank you for all that you do. I hope some kind parent gifted you a massage or spa day.

What are some of your priorities? I want to know. Is health and wellness, weight loss or living a stress-free lifestyle still on that list? On a scale of 1-10 where is it on that list and how can I help you gift yourself at least 20 minutes to dedicated more time for you?

Remember, the road to getting healthy and fit is a journey. It won’t always be easy. There will come a day when you lack the motivation to hit the play button. If that feeling persists, you might be experiencing burnout.

T is for Transformation - A Glimpse into ShaunT’s new Workout Program

Looking for something simple to get a little sweat in and not looking for a mental and physical transformation, than keep on scrolling. 

To be honest this workout has kicked my (dang I can’t curse) every single day for the passed 5+ weeks. 

Its November and that means I can totally spill the beans about being in an Exclusive Pilot Test Group and the details of what you want to know about this cardio step beast of a workout program. 

3 chapters of this workout 

  1. Commit 

  2. Climb 

  3. Conquer 

Its 6 days a week of cardio, endurance, fat burning, high intensity awesomeness. Monday thru Saturday. On Mondays you start of with BURN, by ridding yourself of maybe mistakes you’ve made during the weekend. Then by Tuesday you begin going FASTER, gaining momentum. Mid week you level up by getting STRONGER, you’ve now made it more than 1/2 way through the week so you are definitely becoming more POWERFUL, than you shred or CUT so you can find BALANCE(D). By the end of the week, we go into a recalibrating mode, not only to do it all over again because ALL THE WORKOUTS are different but to increase your progress. Its YOU vs YOU.

It’s GENIUS. Like mad scientist GENIUS. I’ve never done a program EVER like this before.

I’m in my head the entire time in a good way! You have to focus and constantly take your thoughts into the next level of determination. I never once said I can’t wait for this to be over. I’ll be the first to admit sometimes when it gets too hard first thought is to want to quit. In this you want to give it your all. And than it’s done. It’s only 20 mins. 

Everyday it’s excitement all over again to crush your goals. It doesn’t stop there. Each day there are three moves called TRANSFORMERS and each week you have to beat or increase your numbers from the previous week. First week not gonna lie didn’t even see it coming! But you better believe you want to bring your best you each time because you learn right away this is no walk in the park. 

Nutrition plan the most simplest one ever! Easy to follow. Simple recipes. And you’re given options so you can follow 2B Mindset while doing this program which is great because it gives you a sense of flexibility using the nutritional guide. 

My Honest Experience thus far (weeks 1-5) 

So Day 1 I was pumped, excited, happy, nervous, I’m in this secret exclusive pilot test, it’s so amazing and than I bombed the workout. Didn’t love it well because it was like with no warning the gun goes off and than the race is over...had to get use to that. 

I felt like I got caught with my pants down like all while I’m being told to keep up like whaaaa? But each day is brand new! Thats the magic and the following week you get a chance to push through a little harder, go a bit faster, find more balance and get stronger all while going through the motions.
