Taking Inventory on Postpartum Body during Weight loss Journey

Carrying Baby Moon 🌙 was so surreal. I felt the most beautiful and empowered carrying this little light. She’s a such a little goddess and today I was reminded that the light inside of me that carried her doesn’t just leave once we give birth 🌟

Im smiling in this pic because my beautiful belly and the admiration I have for the human body.  So how can I repay my body for taking such good care of me and housing such a light?   This is what I asked myself and last week I got real clear with myself.  And one thing I’ve been doing is taking inventory on what I’m doing with my idle time and making sure it’s not emotional eating.  This quarantine will do that to the best of us!  

Now is a great time to fast, detox and cleanse to reboot our systems for added clarity and immune boosting, and yes weight loss.   Also to feel great, less lethargic and tired and so we’re not running on empty. It’s time to be honest with yourself. Acknowledge that you need to improve and make that commitment to yourself.  We all do. 

Many of us just want things to go back to what they use to pre #covid19 pre #quarantine and pre #stayhome.  But what does that actually do for people who weren’t really going to the gym, but now they miss it, weren’t really taking care of themselves now they miss the idea of it, weren’t really checking inward before?  Let’s start now. If you could change the changeable RIGHT NOW? Start with that. Why not start with your health, your nutrition, your movement? WHY NOT?! 

How can you help yourself “feel better” despite what’s going on in the world you can make better choices.  These days many of us are still not finding the drive or energy to do anything extra because we’re homeschooling, parenting, working whether as as essential worker #thankyou or from home. Many things right now will rob you of your energy especially because the global vibration right now is low. 

So how can we combat this low vibration? One number thing you can do for you and your family is while you’re drinking the sea moss, making teas, steams next time you go grocery shopping, get as much produce as you can.  Get fruits, vegetables, both frozen and fresh.  Healthy carbs. Lean proteins. Coconut, avocado or olive oils instead of vegetable/corn. Eat for your health.  Feed your spirit as well. 

My girls in my Fit Camp are working harder than ever to lead from the front in order to show and guide YOU during this time to give new ideas, recipes new and healthier alternatives to get through this season healthy and thriving.

Heart center ✔️. 

Mindset ✔️. 

Scanning everything from your crown to the tips of your toes. 

We will get through this.  I think for the first time many of us are feeling the same thing. 

Uncertainty.  Bringing up a lot of what ifs. Bringing up a lot of questions, concern, fear, time and also clarity. 

A shift is happening. 

When we come out on the other side of this we have a choice to make.  We can all be healthier, focused, READY, more determined, more compassionate than ever.

The most eager we’ve ever been to experience new heights and live a full unapologetic life. Free of judgment, fear. Adaptable to change. Having a new depth of gratitude and understanding was the vision all along.  Many of us were already on the same wave length when we said 2020 would be the year of clarity. 

Perfect vision.  Right?!  

And since things seem very blurry for many of us right now. Maybe that’s how we’ll truly see and SHIFT our focus to what truly matters. 

Many of us probably wouldn’t have shifted  or made necessary changes if we had not been forced to. So here it is. We’ve been presented an opportunity, more idle time, to stop and switch some things up in order to see more clearly. In order to come out of this better, agile and more flexible than ever before. 

What better version of yourself are you looking forward to becoming? How are you positioning yourself to use this time to recreate, to shift, to focus, to rest and be restored when this is all over, cause a new beginning once we come out of this will be required of many of us.  

If we come out of this exactly the same we’ve missed the mark.

What does "FIT" mean to you?

The past few months I’ve been doing a shift, beginning of Jan we moved out of our condo of 11 yrs. And into our new home end of January 🏠, packing, unpacking, than packed again, currently (still unpacking). 2019 started off with us purging lots of “things”, and belongings. It than started the process of us being open to new beginnings, setting new intentions for the new year ahead, my business, how I can reach more women, moms and seeing how I can truly reach struggling moms. This got me to thinking and I began reflecting back to why I started on this journey, where I was mentally and physically, how I felt and knew this is where I would need to lead. 


A healthier lifestyle means a happier mom. A happy help mate. You’re your most happiest when health is not an issue. Am I right?! Which lead me to PREnatal and POSTnatal Fitness because that’s where I needed help the most. Never got it 14 yrs ago. Made better choices 9 yrs ago still didn’t hit the mark until about 4yrs ago and from there things began to make sense and my eyes began to open more and more I learned, got certifications, did the work on myself, found out that indeed it does work so now its time to share. The fact that majority of my Fit Squad are women, moms, busy, pressured and overwhelmed made total sense to me this is what is needed. My sisters need this. While this is a total switch as I recently completed my Round 3 Transform: 20 and I have been doing it since September have become as empowered, strong and feeling accomplished it is time for me to switch gears a bit‼️ While some of my tribe will be going onto their Round 2 with a cardio, HIIT, step, weightlifting program. I’ll be leading ✨To Be Fit Group✨ with some of my mom coaches who have also expressed their struggle to get back into the routine as new moms trying to incorporate healthy living and habits.

To Be Fit Accountability Group will be for all WOMEN of all stages in their wellness journey. It’s for preggo mommas, postnatal moms just starting on their journey who want to learn how to stay active with their changing (or new) body and feel more comfortable during each stage of this journey both pregnancy and afterwards. We’ll be cheering each other on while creating new healthier habits.


I know when I first started on my journey when my I had my babies and wanted to get back to me, I didn’t know where to start. I was a mess, uncomfortable and at home workouts were ideal but I didn’t have the community and support that I am now partnered with nor the tools and mindset that I am equipped with now. I want to offer that to moms because I get it. 


We will be focusing 80% on nutrition fueling our bodies properly and 20% on daily movement. Which means for mommas who don’t yet have clearance to workout post pregnancy this group is for you too!!!
